The Reindeer Dash for Cash is a fundraising event to benefit the Capt. Christopher Cash Memorial Foundation of NC, Inc. All proceeds are awarded as college scholarships at East Carolina University, Pitt Community College, NCNG Association Educational Foundation and NC Wesleyan College.
Each year, the foundation offers deserving students the financial assistance needed to pursue a higher education and the accompanying rewards of learning and character development achieved through hard work and dedication of earning a professional degree.

In 2009 we had our 4th annual sister Reindeer Dash for Cash at FOB Warhorse in Iraq. The race took place at the Cash Gym, a Fitness Center named in memory of Capt Chris Cash.
We also held two additional runs at FOB Falcon and FOB Mahmudiyah.
The three runs had nearly 600 participants and raised $4,500 in memory of their fallen comrade.
